Tell us 5.... FIVE.... of your fabulous qualities.
hmmmmmmmmm
Well here it goes!
1) I have lost 80 pounds since December 11 2004 ( 4 months ago ) when I came home from the hospital with my newborn son.
2) I am understanding and sympathetic ( even towards my ex husband and his "girl" friend )
3) I love my kids and my boyfriend with all my heart and can say that without thinking twice.
4) I plan things VERY well. Im usually responsible for thinking of all the details.
5) I'm finally taking care of me. From my skin to my soul to my heart and body. I'm able to be a better person to the people around me because of it.
sheesh, I am full of myself aren't I?
Ummmm.... well, being full of yourself would be the point of this little exercise, now wouldn't it ;-)

1) I am a strong and independent woman. I am very proud of this.
2) I am a good friend to not only my friends but also to my kids. Know when to be the mom and when to be the friend. I think kids need us to be both.
3) I respect other people even when we don't agree on an issue. We all have our own opinions.
4) I take great pride in my work. I believe in quality first.
5) I love ME. This one is probably the most important thing about me. If I don't love me no one else will.
See... I really needed this for ME today.

2. I've made a lot of progress in straightening out my life and am slowly checking off items on my goal list: no longer living beyond my means, my own place (no roommate), and a better car, have been chipping away at marital debt and will eventually have it gone.
3. I'm good at my job.
4. I love my hair. Especially today b/c I just got it highlighted.
5. I'm a good 'helper.' If I offer to help with something, I work hard at it, and usually the results show it.
1) I have learned that I need to put me first. Otherwise I am no good to anyone else.
2) I am a good planner, and problem solver. I help other people with their problems.
3) I am a caring and compasionate person.
4) I am a good mom, and I love my son very much.
5) I am living the life I was meant to live, and enjoying every second of it.
1. I look great for my age, even still get carded occassionally, especially in a dark bar!;^}
2. I have made terrific advances in my career in a relatively short time; 5 years since I graduated. Eventhough a certain person said I would never go anywhere on an Art degree.
3. I am proud of myself for being strong enough to say enough is enough and start my life anew.
4. I have raised, almost single handedly, two absolutely wonderful, kind, smart kids who are growing up to be successful, happy human beings.
5.I'm finding the person I used to be and learning to love myself again.
1) I have learned that I need to put me first. Otherwise I am no good to anyone else.
You're very smart and one step ahead of the game just for recognizing that one little (OK, BIG) thing.

I think that my BIGGEST overall accomplishment in the past 1.5 years has been taking control of my life! and that is in MANY different areas:
-going to a therapist and ACCEPTING responsibility for my life and my mistakes, actually saying out loud "no, i DON't LOVE HIM and i never did".
-getting up, packing myself and my son's stuff and walking out on that lazy, good-for-nothing, lump of a pig. it meant leavign with NOTHING in terms of money - but i walked out with my head held high. i did it because i was saving my son's life - and my own. and guess what:
