Does anyone know the best way to find the best (nasty) divorce lawyer in town?

You'll just need to interview a few and figure out who has the personality you want. Starting with referrals from others is always a good idea. Also, check out the lawyer's website and get a feel for their type...are they talking about warm and fuzzy things and making the process easy and fair? Not your type of lawyer then.

Also, I would be prepared to pay big bucks. If you are wanting someone to do a knock down, drag out fight for you, don't expect them to do it without compensating them for the stress.

It has been almost three months since my husband of 43 years left me for another woman. I was so hurt and in shock I could not even think to find a lawyer. My friend called a woman she knows works at our courthouse and asked her for the very best divorce lawyer. She called back after asking many employees who work the divorce court----one name kept coming up---yes, I hired him...he does not talk about the emotion of the divorce at all. But he went for my husbands jugular at our domestic relations hearing. I am thankful my friend got me the lawyers name.
Good luck......His death would have been easier on me. I am leaning on family and friends and making plans for each week. Jmk44 Jo

I have learned -get the bas-----s in the pocketbook----it is the only place they have feelings........
