1. What did you eat for breakfast today? Tea & a granola bar

2. Divorce update! How long (has the process taken/did the process take) leading up to your divorce? and, if applicable... How long have you been divorced? 3 years from separation to finally getting my divorce papers back (woohoo!). It'll be final next month.

3. Sand or Snow? Ummm... neither? I'm not a beach person, more of a sit in the shade on the deck kinda gal. Although I would take sand over snow.

4. What is your "homepage" that opens up when you start your computer's browser? Yahoo, although I hardly use my yahoo acct anymore.

5. Bananas or Strawberries? Eat bananas more frequently, but love strawberries.

6. Favorite channel at iVillage? Love and Sex.

7. You're listening to the radio. A song that you really like comes on and your reaction is to turn up the volume.... What song is it? Depends on my mood - sometimes a new release rock song, sometimes a 90's hair band, sometimes something classic or sometimes something fluffy.

8. About how many e mails do you receive each day? Since I'm lucky enough not to get much junk mail, only about 15-20.

9. What does your mousepad have on it? Plain blue.

10. Weekend plans? Shopping and to my friend's hairdresser appt tomorrow so I can decide on my updo for her wedding, and then staying in with a good book while the tropical storm blows by and hopefully doesn't affect the power.

Hi, all...

1. What did you eat for breakfast today? Watermelon, and coffee of course, about a gallon

2. Divorce update! How long (has the process taken/did the process take) leading up to your divorce? and, if applicable... How long have you been divorced? Separated summer of 02, divorce final 03, still lots of battles with ex over kids. Was considering a divorce for years prior--I knew he would be extremely nasty and unfortunately I was right.

3. Sand or Snow? Ooooh, don't make me choose! One of the best things about living in Houston is that it's a "day trip" to the beach, such a benefit for me! I'm definitely a beach lover. But I've always lived in the south, and would really love to enjoy a snowy holiday time. If I lived somewhere with lots of snow, I might complain though.

4. What is your "homepage" that opens up when you start your computer's browser? MSN

5. Bananas or Strawberries? Definitely strawberries, bananas, Blech!

6. Favorite channel at iVillage?

Pregnancy & Parenting, although I ought to visit diet & fitness more and I wish I had a reason to read Love & Sex more

7. You're listening to the radio. A song that you really like comes on and your reaction is to turn up the volume.... What song is it? The car radio is usually tuned to the news station, until the kids get in that is, if I'm listening to music, it's an oldies or country station--Motown always gets turned up--my girls and I love to sing along.

8. About how many e mails do you receive each day? Who can count? Most are trash.

9. What does your mousepad have on it? Work is plain gray, home has a kitty.

10. Weekend plans? Just moved, so I still have to sort and decorate, still have some stuff in boxes and I need to assemble an entertainment unit. Box said "some assembly required"==sheesh, it came in a bajillion pieces. I've got some nasty wallpaper I want to take down and the yard desperately needs some attention. Middle DD and I are going shopping for stuff to decorate her room.

Have a great weekend, everybody!

Wish you luck with your german guy--glad you've found someone fun. 2 dates in one weekend, way to go!

That Rich Girl song is so funny, my 14YO was stunned that I knew the tune & lyrics--she's never heard of Fiddler on the Roof--need to get her to that musical, one of my favorites!
My little one loves that funny "cheer sounding" one--I don't know the title--it's on everytime she tunes to the pop station--"it's bananas, b-a-n-a-n-a-s!'" Sexual innuendo's? I'm so old and out of it, LOL.

Is that one Gwen too? It's funny--may have lots of sexual connotations, but we sing it anyway. Some of the crap on the radio is just nasty--I hate hearing my little girl sing some of it.
