Hello I am a single dad, check out my profile on here for the details, and what i am asking is why does it have to be soooo

Hi Mark,
I don't think there is anything wrong with your profile. Maybe it's a bit wordy, but other than that I think its a good one.
I wish I had more advice for you.
hi and welcome. i don't see anything wrong with your profile - but i haven't really gotten into the whole online dating/searching thing. yet...
i was wondering WHERE you are looking? are you just looking online? to be honest, then you seem like a great guy, interesting, friendly, proud father, and so on. do you have opportunities to meet people?
In response to sk1960 . . . Thank you for your compliments.
Honestly, for me, I stopped looking. That's when
Hello fellow Nashvillian! (yes, it's a small world!)

STOP LOOKING!!!!!
If you stop looking and just mind your own business you be amazed at what happens.
For me I went to a party with some close freinds and then gentleman that I had hear but not met was there and we hit it off. We decided that we would just hang out and have some fun and see where it led. That was almost 3 years ago. he is everything that I could have ever wanted.
he loves me kids and all.

Pianoguy? Any ideas aside from visiting the Online Dating board?
Welcome to the board, Mark, and ITA about the rings on the left hand. Why confuse any hopefuls?
Hi gonnabefine!
As you probably know....Pianoguy relinquished his "community leader" position for the ON-LINE DATING board to 2 energetic and wonderful women (bklynchik and truewild.......aka Kerry and Jodie).
I read your profile and I agree with all the women. You seem like a wonderful, kind, loving man and good father. (Happy Father's Day, by the way). And you have good looks and I'm sure the character to go with it. Plus, you are young! You have nothing but time.
I liked the post that started with "Stop Looking". I think this is always the case. When you least expect it you will find someone just right for you.
And pianoguy also offers good advice. If you take a chance on someone that you meet unexpectedly, you risk nothing and might find the perfect woman.
As for online dating. I tried it several times. Yahoo and Match and both were disappointing. I don't think you need that. Just follow your heart and stay active and you'll be with someone before you know.
Have a great day. :-)
