Sounds like life is treating you well. :) It's funny how the end of a divorce is so anti-climatic. I got my paperwork in the mail. There was nothing saying that the divorce was final in 30 days, but I knew that from my attorney. At the end of the 30 days, nothing. It was just done. No parades or anything. LOL (However, my x and his nw decided to get "married" two days before the divorce was final. Even though I knew it wasn't legal, I didn't say anything to the kids. Later, when it was an issue for his nw's x, my new friend, they went and looked for the marriage certificate. Turned out that they didn't get married until a couple of weeks later. Yeah, right. I think that they tried to file paperwork and were told he wasn't legally divorced. Anyway, they finally told the kids 8 years later.)
I was wondering about your Greek guy. Glad to hear that the dating is going okay. I'm sure you aren't missing that trip to Disneyland. LOL
I have to tell you, your post just radiates happiness! You really sound content...like you're in a really good place in your life. I'll bet you never would have thought it was possible a few years ago.
The nanny situation sounds really good. I think it will be a great fir for everyone.
And the ring! I love it! It's very funky.
Oh, and I had the pleasure of driving through your lovely state on the way to Cape Cod ;)
PS - Based on those pics, it's no wonder you're getting dates. You're smokin', baby!
Rebecca, You sound so happy. Good for you! The nanny situation sounds like a win win for both of you. I hope it works out. I am sure the woman whole heartedly appreciates it. The pictures are wonderful. Go out and enjoy your new life. You are doing Great! Hugs, Brenda
