So Rosie and Gracie are downstairs with Bob. No, Bob isn't my sweetie and he's not my XH. He's not the milkman or a neighbor. Bob is our pumpkin. Every year, we name our pumpkin Bob. The girls have the best time cleaning him out, squeezing his "guts" between their fingers, and then trying to decide what kind of face Bob needs.
You know, I can't remember when we started naming our Jack-O-Lantern Bob, but I know Rosie doesn't want me to date anyone named Bob because she says it's a goofy name! (She's pretty lucky that my sweetie's name ISN'T Bob!)
This pumpkin is so much fun for them, I wish we could do it more often!

Why not do it more often?
I have a photo of my kids squishing pumpkin guts.

Ah, I love those Halloween traditions. I have one!
When we were young, my sister and I would try to get out of eating dinner on Halloween night because we basically wanted to gorge ourselves with candy! My mom wouldn't hear of that, so instead of getting into a big ordeal over it, we'd get to have Spaghetti-O's for dinner! I still do that with my son, and he loves it.

Spaghetti-O's? Do you eat them, too? I used to love them as a kid (because we never had stuff like that for dinner, in fact, I was DYING for WonderBread when all we had (fake sob) was honest-to-goodness-fresh-bakery bread every other day). XH loved them, so once I heated a can up for dinner and I couldn't even get one spoon down. I'd rather do freshly cooked pasta with Prego!
But I could still eat an entire box of Ho-Hos!

*L* good for you!
I think a box of Ho-Ho's is calling my name!!!
