First off... if you're considering moving across a state line, make sure that there is nothing in your divorce decree that states that you have to get permission from your EX to do so.... then, well, I think that, in a way, I was releived (sort of) when I knew that the majority of the parenting was on me.

Hey there,
I am not quite to the point where I offer you much advice. Its been a week since my Dh has left and he intends on filing for divorce. I am wondering myself how people get through it. He will expect to have visitations, probably every other weekend. We have 4 kids.

It is hard, my mother raised her 5 kids alone pretty much all of our lives. PLEASE dont hesitate to ask others for help, try to set aside enough money for a baby sitter so you can go out with friends once in a while, get out there in groups or something so you can be with other adults! When you feel alone, call a friend. My mother didnt do any of that, and it showed in her depression. It wasnt good for the kids.
