Happy Valentine's Day

Hey everyone...
I just wanted to take a minute and wish my online friends here a Happy Valentine's Day... this isn't the easist of holidays, so I wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you and sending a hug your way!
My little Joey was so excited about the card and candy he got for me, that he had to give it to me tonight... He was so cute about it... Mommy, close your eyes, I have a surprise for you!!!
In honor of Valentine's Day, I encourage everyone to do something for themselves over the next few days... Don't forget to post and tell us what it is... whether it is a manicure, haircut, a couple of hours of shameless TV time, reading time, a nice cup of coffee or enjoying a beautiful sunrise or sunset, share the joy!
*hugs*
Julie

I'm glad that you tried it... and you know, truthfully it doesn't matter so much... he loves you for you and that's what is important...
I hope that you had a great Valentine's day!
*hugs*

Karen...
Can I put you on my speed dial for when Joey starts school... I can bounce things off of you (and therefore your Mom) to get those other opinions... because I am trying to learn to be more assertive without being a b..... unless I've tried being assertive and is hasn't worked... then a little b may be required...
Seriously though... I'd love to hear how it all turns out... Keep us posted...
*hugs*

I'm a big fan of Grey's Anatomy, too... that DVD set is supposed to have something like 19 unaired shows, too..... yummy!

Thanks Brenda.... I know I've already let it ruin too many days, and it will probably crash a few more while we wait for conference day, but oh well.

Hi Karen...
The Grey's Anatomy has 19 previously unaired ~scenes~ not episodes... and I haven't even gotten to them yet... but did manage to watch episodes 1 and 2 last night before calling it a night... turns out I did catch episode 1 somewhere along the way, but hadn't seen 2 until last night... and watching a little McDreamy before bed time... never a bad thing...
I was picking Joey up from daycare today and the private pre-K down the street had dropped off their registration announcements today... so I'm going to pre-register him tomorrow morning (I hope), so he'll have a place... I spoke with them a couple of weeks ago and was impressed, though I am truly hoping his number will get drawn in the local elem school lottery because it will be ~so~ much cheaper... and one less transition for Joey, since he'll be at that elem school in 07 regardless of this upcoming school year...
Have you heard back from anyone else yet? You'll have to keep me posted... It is sad that Brooke has lost her faith in this teacher... from what you've said about her, I find myself wondering why she teaches... doesn't sound like she gets much out of it...
*hugs*
Julie
I ask myself the same question... "why is she teaching?" (Of course, I've said the same thing about the band director at Blake's school--he's definitely a musician.... but not an educator.
