He moved out last night

STBX started moving out last night, and spent the night at his new place. Since our youngest DS was staying over a buddy's house, and older DS was also out, I was pretty much alone for much of the evening. I didn't sleep very well-- I'd been sleeping in younger DS's bed since early January, and he'd been in my room, so we switched back. Not sure if it was that I'm not used to *my* bed, or if it's my health issues to blame for the sleepless night. I've had problems with sleeping in the past when STBX was out plowing snow at night, so maybe I just need to adjust to living without him.
STBX came home this morning to pick up more stuff. It's really strange for me. We got married a week after I turned 19, so I've never lived "on my own". I'm starting to feel a bit like a housepet-- I think STBX liked having the balance of power in his court, if you know what I mean? That he liked having me as the wife who had to ask him for money, etc.

Hugs sweetie.... it does get better.

Hi Angelena,
Thanks for the kind words, I just feel kinda miserable right now, physicallly more so.
Hope you're feeling better..... even thought I was ready to get away from my EX, it was still weird to be comfortable and adjust to the new situation.... but it didn't take long.
Hang in there... hope tonight is better!

I'm feeling a bit better... I've added some nutritional supplements, and I hope it'll help with the fatigue.
Other than that, I washed the bedding today, cleared out some old stuff... watched the Red Sox beat the Yankees like a rented mule (always good to make me smile!), did some knitting... STBX had bought a bed-in-a-bag set for his apartment, and the style matched my bedroom curtains exactly! So, when he went back to Walmart for some apartment supplies, I asked him if he'd pick me up the same bed-in-a-bag for the house, LOL. My old comforter was a 10-year old king size thing that was super heavy, and too hot. The new comforter set is much lighter, so I think that'll help.
Gonna get to bed in a few minutes anyway, and NOT turn the TV on like I did last night. Maybe watching the Exorcist 2 didn't help? :-)
Exorcist 2!... oh my!
I'm with ya about the heavy covers.

Well, I did get a pretty decent night's sleep last night! WOOHOO!! It was fairly warm, so I slept with just a sheet, and pulled the blanket on around 6 a.m. My feet get hot too, and I have to search around for a cool spot, or uncover them completely.
I figure no more TV after 11 p.m. Just too much sensory input for me at the moment. With my adrenal exhaustion, my doc says I can have a sodium / potassium imbalance, so I'm adding salt to my water-- it doesn't taste so good, but when I was in a bad way before, it did help. I can say that when I drink the recommended plain water amount per day, I do feel draggy, so there's something to the added salt.
Younger DS was kinda sad about his dad leaving-- last night he said that he didn't want his dad to leave him. I told him that his dad isn't leaving him, he's just moving to another place, because he and I can't be married anymore. He seemed a *bit* better this morning, so I said, why don't we invite dad over for breakfast. He was stoked about that.
