Okay, I know I've had a discussion some time ago here about my single neighbor.

Hey there,

Just slow down and enjoy the attention.

Okay, I had a momentary lapse of reason yesterday but I'm sane again this morning.

Yesterday jumping his bones is exactly what I wanted to do!

But I know that I need to get my life back on track for me and my son before I can move in that direction.

Good for you Buckeye! I agree with the other posters about taking it slowly. We have been soooo hurt by our alcholic X's, that anything looks better. Good to keep your neighbour a friend for now! Keep us posted.

But I will admit the thought has crossed my mind...things were SO bad for SO long with NO intimacy...I'm overdue ;)

How long have you been separated? It clearly sounds like your son is encouraging you to get back out there, and even if you keep it casual, testing the waters may be the right decision for you. Maybe your son sees it more clearly than you do? Look at it this way, he may be your new Mr. Right, BUT if it gets to heavy, use the neighbor excuse to back off.

How soon is to soon? I have never seen an answer that is right for everyone.
