Hi everyone....

This has been an interesting week. My 18 yo xsdd is graduating in June. I found out this past week that her dad has not done anything for her. No announcements,no cap and gown nothing. This is typical of him though, always leave it to someone else. I've not had the best relationship with her for varios reasons. One being she would twist everything I say and get ex mad at me. I don't think she knew it was in her best interest to stay on my good side.

But being the nice person I am,I went to the store and I'm making announcement cards for her to send out. She is coming to my house after school on Monday to help fill everything out. Ex doesn't even have a party planned for her and I can't afford to do it.( She considers me mom ,she hasn't seen her BM for 10 yrs.BM choice) So I'm doing what I can.

Ex gets CS for her and still can't seem to get her what she needs. Well I wanted to tell you all about the qoute I'm putting in her cards. It goes well for any phase of life.

"Sparkling as a clear blue stream,
Tranquil as a gentle breeze,
Bright as blossoms in the sun...
Tomorrow's possibilities."

Hi there!

My first thought is to say, that poor girl. Her mom chooses not to see her and her father sees graduation as nothing special ( no party no announcements etc.... )

She is very lucky to have you, regardless of what disagreements you have had in the past you are still there for her. Kudos to you.

The quote is also wonderful.

Hugs and congrats to her!
