How much weight have you lost?

I am nearly what I weighed in highschool (16 yrs ago)! And I still had baby weight I've been trying to loose. I've lost 14 lbs in the past 2-3 weeks & I'm bf.

How do you get yourself to eat? I feel so sick even if I eat a 1/2 peanut butter sandwich.

I have a 3yo who does not eat anything but grains & cheese, my 10m is still on mushy foods. I really don't want to prepare a 3rd meal for myself. And meat is expensive for one person, especially when you don't know when/where your next dollar is going to come from.

How to break out of this???

Bonnie

firstglimpse...
I've lost 30 pounds and its been two months. I've been working out too at the gym (which helps me get out of the house). He always had a gym membership (that of coarse I paid for) and he always was trim, while I ballooned. Its good I am taking care of myself, but I also share the bad eating habits. Some days I just don't eat. I try to go out more to eat with friends so I can eat and be out at the same time. I think this helps me feel better as now I can wear cloths I thought I was never going to wear again. Its good motivation too. I take a vitamin every day and if you bf then you should be too.
Becareful of too much weight loss. Then you won't think properly and may make wrong decisions. You have to keep your strength up for you and your kids as you go through this. Otherwise he might take advantage of you. So stay strong for them and you. Even if you just cut up fruit or veggies, with some protein its better then nothing.

I doubt I'll loose more as I don't remember the last time I've been under 115 lbs (I flux between 118-120 right now). My size 6 pants are baggy & make me feel frumpy, but with no money I cannot imagine buying some only to start gaining weight again. Although I do have some money left on my gift card from my birthday last June.

Has anyone started to gain after losing?

I do take my prenatal religiously. When I eat it is with ds so it's mostly cheese, beans & grains, so I am getting protein (oh, and I LOVE milk). Just not meat protien right now.

I'm learning to focus again. I'm actually starting to get more hours in with work, which is a very good thing. Dh is supposed to have an assessment on Thur, 10am, he says he'll tell them he is bipolar, hopefully that means they'll give him some lithium or depokote & he'll come out of this mania & realize he doesn't want a divorce after all. ....but that is a lot of if's.

I'll keep working on it.

Oh yea, I don't know how to find a babysitter. No teenagers in my neighborhood I know well enough to trust. But my neighbors due help out when I ask.

Thanks,
Bonnie

cheese, beans, grains and milk. Yes, that is good nutrition. No matter how tired I am, or how little time I may have, no matter how touchy my digestion has been lately... there is always one thing I feel great about eating any time. I keep a bag of frozen, shelled soy beans in the freezer. Pour them in a bowl and eat.

There are tons of food items I cannot eat. Soy beans never cause me ANY troubles.
