Husband Leaving

Just let me give you a brief description of my situation. I've been married for 16 years. I have a 20 year old from a previous marriage-and we have a 9 and 10 year old. Before Christmas he told me he wasn't sure he wanted to be married to me anymore. We hit a dry spell I guess you could say. He said he'd do therapy or whatever it took. I've started trying all I could. We've had great-and more sex lately-I've been seeing a therapist, etc. Meanwhile, I received a phone call at work from a man who told me my husband was having an affair with his wife. He denies it of course-but has gotten more distant-he travels a lot too. He told me this morning he's moving out. His plan is to come home-pack a bag-tell the kids and go. He has an appartment lined up. My poor children truly have no idea anything is wrong. How do I handle this. My son has baseball practice tomorrow-which husband helps coach. My son will be a wreck. Ideally we will tell them he has to work tonite-and after baseball tomorrow-sit down and talk to them. Should I put some money from our savings away for us? He has a secret account he's been stashing money in-I found the stub. What do I do?

Hi there,
Not real sure what to tell you. I'm sure someone here will have some good advice for you. Hugs for what you are going through.

First things first: if you have a joint account with him you need to get all money out of it before he blows it on his mistress. I never thought my STBX would do that, but he did and I got left with about 400.00.
Line up some therapy for your kids ASAP. They are going to need someone to talk to who is unbiased
