I just have one thing to ask....

How did you go from living with someone for a number of years, and kids, and the whole house thing (thank god we just rent) to being alone ALL THE TIME?

I am such a different person now - and I want him to be gone.....but a small part of me is scared. But I sit back and think and I KNOW I will be fine. It just takes some getting used to.

I don't know if I can afford where I live alone, and I wonder if I should give me landlord the heads up. I get along VERY well with her (she is single and might understand) and I wonder if she would do anything to help "accomodate" me.

Anyways, basically I am just curious to hear others and their experiences of the "transition".

Have a good afternoon!

It's a huge adjustment, going from being so used to having someone there, the routine etc. For me the nights in the beginning were soooooooooo long. Ugh, it drove me crazy. But with time it does get better. Then after a while, I began to enjoy the time alone a bit. I could do what I wanted when I wanted, walk naked if I wanted lol, but now with the baby being older I cover up. He's almost 3 and you know kids they touch, point and ask questions lol.

I watch whatever shows I want and the best is I alone can have the temperature whatever way I want it to be. He always had a hotter body temp than me so like the a/c on alot. Girl you will figure it out one day at a time. I know that sounds so like the cliche but its true.

This website and journaling did wonders for me. I dont know how I would have survived without this site. I took the time to find "ME" again. I had lost myself in my relationship. So I did work on my inner self, read alot of uplifting books. But I still have alot of work to do. I found sometimes I have revert back to some of my "old ways" which do not honor me so Im going back to my books. One of the best and she has many is by author Iyanla Vanzant.

Hugs.

Well, there is always the traditional notebook, but one thing that I found I like is blogging.

Hello.... and Welcome!

I used to journal on my computer... in a password protected file on a removable disk.
