Ya know.... if he has his good job.... he might just be less stressed and easier to deal with all around.... and if you can use this as a bargaining tool, then go for it!


I do think that the RO will still be in his background check.... whether it's active or not.... but he's just going to have to grow up and deal with any consequences from that himself, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't take advantage of his willingness to cooperate at the moment no matter what his other motives might be.
