about Karma and how it will come back and bite you in the butt!!

During the initial phase of our break up when were were dividing stuff EX arbitrarily decided that since the loans for both vehicles were in his name he would therefore take both of them. Leaving me with no vehicle. I was pissed since he supposedly bought that van for me as a gift but I was not about to take over the payments for my van (The warranty was up and there was still too much owing, plus just the principal of it - I wouldn't give him the satisfaction) so I begrudgingly signed it over to him. I bought a second hand van and have been very happy with my decision. He sold his truck and kept the van. It burned me everytime I saw him driving my van but I never said a word.

Fast Forward to last weekend. He's been working out of province and had a few days off so he flew home and left the van parked at a friends place with ALL his stuff in it (clothes, work stuff, his prized guitar, etc). He was awakened this morning by the local police telling him that they had just received notification that his van had been stolen and torched!!!!! There was nothing left except the shell!!!

OMG! I am not usually a vindictive person but man oh man, I had such a hard time not laughing in his face. Bwahahahahahahahaha!

Yep, Karma - gotta love it :)

Just a lurker but your story brought a smile to my face. Though I am usually not vindictive myself I thought I would share. 4 months after OW and ex got married he called one sunny thanksgiving day to say he wouldn't be getting the kids that day for visitation, seemed he needed to find a place to live. He then proceeded to tell me....yes, new wife seemed to be enjoying her time during his deployment with a friend of his. Though I acted contrite and said my sorry's that he had to go through that as I knew that it felt terrible in my head I kept asking for God's forgiveness as I wanted to laugh out loud and dance around the room. Keep me humble Lord but thank you for Karma!

Hi Kelly :-)

I can't tell you how many times since EX and I divorced that he'll call or be telling me something or another and I'll just tilt my head to the side, sigh and say "oh, you poor, poor baby."
