The jerk tried to run me over yesterday

We had a major storm yesterday... STBX plows for the town. I went out to see if the paper was at the bottom of the driveway. As I'm walking down the steps, STBX drives up, and he's starting to plow out the bottom of the driveway. So, I'm walking toward him, and 18 y/o DS brushes by me to talk with his dad. I get to the bottom, and I'm poking around for the paper. I walked past STBX's truck (he was just stopped, talking to DS) to see if the neighbors' paper was in their newspaper box. I was about 15 feet to the rear of STBX's truck. STBX said, "Oh I put it by the tree for you." Then he accelerates in reverse toward me. I had to jump out of the way. "Oh, I didn't see you there" he says all snotty-like, and with a gleam in his eye. He drove off like a bat out of hell.

So I came inside, called my layer to report this to her (she's in FL for the weekend-- lucky her!), then called the cops to report it. They said that I should go to court today if I want to file a restraining order... I hope my lawyer gets back to me soon.

No school today so I was checking message board and saw your post. No offense but your ex sounds like a piece of work. I can, however, identify with that lady dentist who ran over her cheating husband with her (Mercedes!) car 26 times. Go today and file that report if you need to- you can't be too careful. Someone was run over by a snowplow near Hartford, CT yesterday. I'm glad it wasn't you. Take care and good luck.

P.S. There should be some kind of registry for sh***y ex husbands so we can all steer clear and avoid future dating problems.

I would definitely report it..... it could be good insurance to have in place if he does something again..... you'll be able to take action against him much quicker.
