I have a job interview this week. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers, I really need to find a job! May 15th is our final inspection date for this apartment and I still don't have a clue where we are moving...and that depends on finding a job.
My stbx was told yesterday that he is most likely going to a base in NC (on the coast) soon. If we stay here we will be about 5 hours away and if we move to the town in NC we had considered we'll still be about 5 hours away from him...I think that's a good distance. Since we can't possibly follow him around the military anymore it's going to have to do. He actually got on my case yesterday because he thought I was trying to follow him to NC! All I was trying to mention was getting a place that would accommodate our daughter so he could have her there for some visits and he took it as a place for her and I to live! His plan is to come in to town and stay at a hotel and visit her....whatever!
Thanks for listening.

Good luck.

Good Luck and keep us posted on how it goes!
Just remember it will turn out just as it should... so take lots of deep breaths and let yourself shine through!

Good luck to you! I hope you
Thank you all. I got a second interview on the spot and they started my background check. It was so awesome to hear that I was qualified and wanted for the position! They said that once my background check came back they would make me an offer.
Since the interview I have decided to go ahead and move to NC. So, I won't be able to take this job I interviewed for but it was a great experience to go through a real inteview (my first one!). Now once I get to NC I will be better prepared. I was bummed that I wouldn't be able to take the job but the hours and manditory overtime just won't work for a single mom of a toddler. They will keep my info on file and I could always go back there once my daughter is a little order maybe.
We have reserved our Uhaul for Mother's Day weekend. Things are really starting to get moving around here!
Good job on your interview! Even if you don't take this job, you're right, it was a great experience for you. Keep us all updated on your move!
