I used to be on the BSSG board quite a bit - my H had a child with the other woman while we were married. After a period of "false rebuilding," I came home one day from work and his clothes were gone - he just up and left our 5 year old boy and I. We are divorced. My son's dad is his hero - so I am the one like I said before that bites my tongue and bends over. I try to provide some support on this board to people - the bottom line is you have to do what's best for the kids in my opinion - if that means swallowing your pride - well pride and a dime won't buy you a cup of coffee......

I totally understand the pride thing.I myself have done it on may occasions. If you read my post about my weekend update you'll see pride swallowing. I just think it's a matter of swallowing carefully. If done right it can go a long way to bennifit the kids.I will be divorced two years this May and only now am I able to work things out with the ex.I do still have to bit my tounge a little. But it becomes less each year.

Thanks for sharing.
