I was seeing a guy 10 years ago. He called me after all this time and is back in my life - well sort off. I live in india and he's in the UK. He's going through a rough divorce and a child custody case. We have been chatting on messenger and on the phone everyday for the past one year. And he wants to come here and see me again. But everytime he plans something goes wrong. I'm beginging to get the feeling he's holding up the situation because he's not too sure about things. I've asked hime directly many times if he's still interested and his answer has always been "yes"!.

The relationship is one of trust and respect but since he's left me once before I dont know how much more time i should give it. I've met him only once last year.

I'm going nuts thinking about it and not being able to do much. I'm single and want to start a family soon. And I think he's the perfect guy for me.

HELP!!

Someone that is going through a divorce and a custody case is not an ideal candidate for settling down right away. He is probably not even fully aware of the ups and downs he will face in the near and not so near future. His life is full of turmoil and that won't change too quickly. Very often when someone dates during their divorce it's more because they are lonely than they are looking for someone to settle down with (even if they think that is what they want at the time). There are lots of red flags with this guy and you would be wise to pay attention to them.
