I really like marshmallows when they're nearly burned on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside.

Calla!

But you know, it's the "nearly burned on the outside" part that reaches out and grabs me.

Oh, I think it's because you always roast marshmallows over a campfire and you can't control the heat. If it's too hot, you get the black on the outside, melted on the inside thing going for you, right?

Have you ever put them in the microwave?????

(I don't recommend doing that to just any old marshmallow. Only the ones you buy in the store. *cheeky grin*)

Calla,

I do have to say that I was looking forward to seeing this post since you gave me the heads up this afternoon... It was worth the wait... yeah, the soft, gooey inside is nice, but its sometimes hard to get them just brown enough on the outside WITHOUT burning them to a crisp on the outside... which is actually the way I prefer them...

Thanks again... I have LOL'ed when I 've needed to and don't know that I'll look at a marshmellow quite the same again!

Swahili? Me? Oh please.

But seriously!!!! The interior of the marshmallow is definitely worth the wait, even though not EVERYONE can sample your marshmallow!

Seriously! Put a marshmallow on a paper plate and turn the microwave on for about a minute...... watch it while it "cooks."

Well, I think it would be cool while it's revolving around in the microwave if it also did the Evan Almighty dance... however, the last time I tried to get a marshmallow to do that, it was screaming at me "I'd have to be mixed with LOTS of alcohol before that would happen."
