Melatonin & update

So I stopped by STBX's this afternoon to see DS before I went grocery shopping. On my way out, I spoke with STBX about the melatonin. I asked him how it had been going, and if he'd noticed any difference. He said, "Nope. No difference either way. He sleeps good for me. Always has." Which totally puzzled me (I didn't argue or debate the issue with him), since DS has never slept well at any time in his life... and since STBX and I had a completely opposite conversation with DS's counselor about this on Monday.

I don't know... is STBX a total hypocrite, or is this just more of his passive-aggressive behavior?

I spoke with my lawyer yesterday. Evidently, STBX's lawyer yelled at him again for some such reason (I forget what she told me, but I have a feeling it's because of the GAL's report, which said joint physical, unless I relocate, then it would be sole physical for me)... and she ssaid STBX's lawyer's pretty much forsaken the whole 200K "loan" from STBX's parents arguement.

So, I'm armed with a slew of paperwork to bring to my lawyer's tomorrow... assessments for the house; an aerial photo of STBX and my business, which shows how close to a cranberry irrigation resevoir and an active cranberry bog our property is (STBX is claiming our business is contaminated, and thus is valueless, which is utter BS)... gee, wouldn't the bog owner find it interesting to know an abuttor's land is potentially contaminated?...; itemized worksheets of the repair expenses I've incurred since last year trying to get the house ready to sell ($5,400 smackers so far, and STBX has not helped once, except to help me paint for 1/2 hour); the report from the marriage counselor we went to 2 years ago... I feel very positive about the meeting, and I'll update again tomorrow.

Any thoughts on the melatonin and STBX?

Met with my lawyer this morning... she discovered that STBX has about 18K in bonds, and we're going to try to use that to pay off some of the credit card debt that is crippling me financially.

She wants us to try to get the house on the market ASAP... I'm still going to finish the projects around here, to increase the value as much as possible.

She wants me to itemize (as much as possible) what the credit cards have been used for. I told her that $1,400 was for the cell phone bill (thanks, STBX!!), around $450 was for business expenses, $400 to get the car to pass inspection, $5,400 for home repairs, $60 every 2 weeks or so to fill up the gas tank on my SUV (I only get about 10 mpg, and want to trade it in for a more economical model post-divorce), groceries because STBX doesn't give me ANY money whatsoever...

I brought up a few issues-- I never received a dime from our tax return, and I'd given our accountant all the info about the home repairs and non-covered health expenses... evidently, STBX had the refund direct-deposited into the business account. Which is wicked strange, since he HATES that type of thing-- very paranoid about people "going into" his account. We think it's STBX's parents are behind that... the cell phone bill which was so high because of his calls-- I said that he could check his minutes ON HIS PHONE, so there's no reason he should have had run the bill that high... I think it's because I wouldn't tell him who my son and I were calling, so he took it out through the cell...

Customers who have defaulted on their accounts at out business, and STBX does NOTHING about it... he won't give me info about our business, to try to meake my accounting look sloppy...

I showed my lawyer aerial photos of the business site and STBX's parents' home/s... she was quite impressed, and said it should help our case-- a reservoir for cranberry bog irrigation abuts our business property, and 2 new houses are going in across the street, so the value of that land should increase.

My lawyer said that STBX is probably doing badly emotionally, because most of his case has been shredded apart. The ONLY thing he has "going" for his case is an estimate to remove junked tires from the business property for 9K, which I don't object to; however, he's known about this for YEARS and has done zilch to get rid of the tires.

All in all, it's going to be a busy month... We're going to have a 4-way conference on the 17th at STBX's lawyer's office... should be interesting, to say the least.

DS is back from spending several nights at STBX's... He has not had his ADD meds since Monday. I asked DS how the melatonin has been-- if he's sleeping OK. He told me, "Oh, I only had that one day." Great. I'll leave a message for his counselor-- STBX will be bringing DS to his appointment Monday, as I have an appointment with the CFS specialist at that time.
