I don't think I mentioned it at this board, but my son had to have his appendix out over the weekend. It was emergency surgery, but all went well and we only had to stay for just over a day. I thought he was healing wonderfully until last night (after the conversation I posted about). He was complaining of a bad bellyache again and pain down his legs. I took his temp and it was 101.4. A call to the surgeon confirmed that he needed to go to the ER. They were very concerned about him having an abcess. After a TWO HOUR wait we finally got in and then he had a chest Xray and a CT scan. He has no abcess, but he has swollen lymph nodes in his abdomen and that was causing the pain and fever. He needs lots of fluids but he'll be fine at home. Of course we were in the ER all night and just got home now... zzzzzzz

PG (and probably every other contributor to this board) extend their prayers and positive wishes to both YOU, as well as to YOUR SON!
And definitely...a good night's rest for both of you TONIGHT!

Wow!.... enough already!
I hope things are calmer now and that he's feeling better.
