My ex hasn't paid his half of the kids' doctor bills and I have a dentist bill in which he owes $54 of. He also has not removed my name from the land deed which was supposed to be done 90 days after divorce (deadline was July). Should I serve him with the papers or am I further aggravating an already horrible situation. I don't want to cause trouble and cause angst to the kids.

How is it going to make it worse? I am assuming by that comment that it's already bad. It's important that you protect your rights now. If you don't, you won't feel good about yourself, you won't be the best mom you can be, and you won't be making a change. I encourage you to find your voice and file the papers as someone who's BTDT.

ITA. He started it by not following the court orders. You're merely keeping on top of things.
