I ended up moving out Tuesday. I was not planning on moving until this weekend. Stbx called me Tuesday and infomed me he would not be home and had scheduled the utilities to be turned off Wed. morning. I ended up getting everything important out. The kids and I moved in with my dad. I have to go back this weekend and get the rest of our things. It was really hard at first emotionalloy but I think I did really good.

My main issue righ now is the kids went to stbx's for this weekend. It is the first time I have ever been away from them for two days. I don't know what I will be doing. I know I need to find something to keep me from going crazy.

Stbx did give me some money this week. He paid the kids daycare for next week and then gave me 300. He thinks this will last two weeks. I can't wait until he starts paying normal cs. I should have gotton 750 this week. My lawyer said I have to just take whatever he gives me until we go to court. I guess I need to be happy he gave me anything.

I just went through my first weekend without my boys. Was pretty hard, especially since I was still reeling from moving out and the shock of discovering husband cheating. Just try to stay busy! I went out with my brother in law for a few beers and some appetizers, was more of a symbolic gesture. Do things that are easier to do without kids, even if its going for a shopping spree at the local goodwill store or garrage sales (you know how hard it is to shop for clothes when kids are underfoot!). No need to break the bank over it. Get a nice powerwalk in and take a superlong hot shower or bath, exfolliate your feet (sugar and honey with a dash of moisturizer is the best) and paint your toenails pretty. You get the idea. Whatever you do, don't break out the Ben and Jerry's and potato chips. I did go a bit crazy on the second night...drank too much cheap wine and googled how to get revenge on my ex. Discovered drinking too much dries out my sinuses and I'm just not cut out for the stupid stuff people suggest like signing ex up for dirty magazines and sending them to neigbors or closing his checking account. I'll settle for taking him to the cleaners in divorce court though!!! Sending you good vibes...

You're doing great! It's tough to be away from the kids at first. After a while that's the time you use for you & to rest so that you can be there for them full time. Take baby steps, be good to yourself & for a while schedule things with friends or yourself when he has the kids. It will get better! Don't worry about the cs, he will be ordered by the court to do the right thing. You can do this!!!!
