My mom just sent me an email (in response to an e mail I sent to her about some "confusion" with Brooke's classes, in which I was given an "inappropriate" response about, more saga with the now-temper tantrum throwing band director, and a snippy and arrogant high school principal who is oblivious to blatant safety concerns----sigh!

This one actually goes out to all the ivillagers who love talking with Karen and visiting this board...

Pianoguy seriously thinks we should all 'chip in' and give Karen a membership to a health spa or at least a place where "massage therapy" is available 24/7?

Our gesture WON'T necessarily improve her attitude with the school band director or EVEN MAKE AMENDS WITH HER MOTHER...but that one hour of 'pampering' (massage, hot tub, etc.) could make all the difference in the world! :)

Yep, life is looking darn crazy for you right now! See, I can understand when children behave poorly, but when adults do, it drives me NUTS!

As for the ex? It seems like this is a serious case of, "you can't teach an old dog new tricks."

Now, where's that hot tub?!?!? ;)

Karen...

TWO Thoughts from PG:

1. Be grateful that all you had in the dentist's chair this morning was "an enamel problem!" After 8 root canals...(and I suspect there's at least one or two that haven't been addressed yet), I'm somewhat reluctant to return to my dentist for another visit!

2. #2 Son has a HOT TUB installed outside...adjoining his back deck! You have no idea how freaky it is to walk out on a December, January, or February SNOW-COVERED NEW ENGLAND AFTERNOON...and climb into those 100+ degree swirling warm waters circulating inside that hot tub?

THE FEELING IS AWESOME....until it's time to get out, throw a towel over your warm and pampered body, and then start running for the sliding back door through all the snow!)
