credit agency when NCP in arrerrages for CS? X has been in arrearages more than 2 months before and never have I received a NOTICE OF INTENT TO REPORT CHILD SUPPORT DEBT TO CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES.
I just received this today and the notification is dated 05/20/06. It says he can contest this action within 21 days or pay the amount of arrearages in full. But the amount of arrearages listed on the notice is lets just say this number "1100.00" But as of today's date it really is "1700.00" and if he makes no payment before Thursday(1st of the month" it will be up to "2200.00".
Before I received notice that he would have a bench warrant but nothing this time. But then 2 days after the bench warrant was issued it was then put on hold and he paid $200 and court date rescheduled for another 2 months. So I understand that this is an INTENT to do an action but does not mean he will do it. He has 21 days to pay the arrearages which is 21 days from the 20th. So I am sure he will get out of it somehow. I am working 2 jobs now and I just found a 3rd job for the weekends of when my DD is not with me.
So I guess I don't know why they don't demand payment within X days not a whole almost month. I know if my lights are going to be cut off if I don't pay by that date and time click they go off. Just saying. My DD and I deserve this money. It isn't like I am sitting home checking the mailbox saying "when is that child support coming?" Shoot I don't get to check my mail until this time at night after working 2 jobs!!!
Just venting.. thanks

I feel ya, Girl!
I don't know about the reporting, but I would think that child support services would do that, just as they can link arrearages to tax returns and driver/professional/recreational license suspensions.
I'm sending some good vibes your way.... hang in there!
