I think the discussion title says it all. I am a newlywed (married in Nov 2007) and thinking of divorce already. Here is my story... sorry it is a long one.

I am in my late thirties and married for the first time.

Would he agree to counseling???.... I mean, counseling is a means to figure out if it's right... or if it's wrong... not necessarily a *fix all*... but I think that would be a good place to start sifting it all out.

Wow! I think my ex would cry too if he had to go through things I have given him over the yrs and throw them out because he is with someone else now! Now, i know my circumstances are a lot different that we were together for 26 yrs and have a child together, but I know for a fact, he would never part with any of things (cards, notes, pictures) I have given him in the past, and I wont get rid of the things he has given me either.

He is now with another woman and has been since October.

That would be like me getting rid of all of my old photo albums.

i think i had been married all of two weeks and i looked around and asked myself WHAT i had gotten myself into.

now that i am out on my own, it is exhilarating and intimidating and nauseating and all the -ating words i can think of. and i wouldn't trade it or go back and change a thing.

you're in my thoughts!
