I got your little package today in the mail... and I am looking forward to my reading, especially with THE lunch being tomorrow.... (think of me and how many shades of red I may turn tomorrow afternoon)... and with Joey's comments today to LOL at, and with the stress I had at work today, well... I'm looking forward to the reading...
I did not see a couple of pages though and was hoping you could scan those and email them to me... pages 402 and 403 are missing... would you mind? :)
Thanks again for thinking of both Joey and I... I was surprised with the extra pages you included... had I told you when the other's birthday was?
*hugs*
Julie

Thanks Calla...
That picture was taken yesterday after Joey's pre-K ceremony was over.

I wanna eat the feet off of a chocolate easter bunny!
Or one of those big huge Special Dark bars.

All this chocolate talk is making me hungry.
I nearly forgot to eat lunch today. In fact, I WOULD have forgotten, had my sweetie not called me while I was in the middle of something to ask me to lunch. I refused, and he showed up 30 minutes later with a delicious greasy chili-slaw dog and crispy french fries. What a treat. Yummy lunch with a yummy guy.
I'm not braggin', but I'm keeping him. He's head, shoulders, waist, thighs, ankles, and feet above my XH.

Awww.... I've had days like that where you get so busy that lunch is the last of your thoughts... How sweet of your sweetie to help you out there.
Today, I had lunch with G and our other lunch friend, but not B, which is good, since you know, I'm still not quite ready for that lunch to happen yet... G has calmed down a lot since I talked to her a few weeks ago, explaining that nothing could be said that would make our working relationship uncomfortable...but when it was just the three of us,
So I wonder if our friends have better insight into our lives than we ourselves?????
Sweetie and I have been friends for almost 10 years. (*horrors*!!!) We always hung around together at work, went to lunch, blah blah. Once the divorces were final and we started doing more things together after work, more people saw us together and anyone who didn't know us before-divorce thought we were married, especially at school since our kids go to the same school and our exes aren't involved in school. But our friends who DID know us before started telling us what a great couple we made and so forth. We'd just laugh.
And look at me now. He's a keeper and I'm glad I opened up to it, even though my response to one girlfriend was "Oh geez. I'd have to have SEX with him. Have you ever really LOOKED at him? I'm sure that women laugh at the thought of it."
Open mouth. Insert foot. Smile. Repeat.

You raise a very good point Calla... about our friends having more insight into our lives than we do... perhaps they can see something from the outside that we either can't or refuse to see at a given time, for whatever reason...
