I got your little package today in the mail... and I am looking forward to my reading, especially with THE lunch being tomorrow.... (think of me and how many shades of red I may turn tomorrow afternoon)... and with Joey's comments today to LOL at, and with the stress I had at work today, well... I'm looking forward to the reading...
I did not see a couple of pages though and was hoping you could scan those and email them to me... pages 402 and 403 are missing... would you mind? :)
Thanks again for thinking of both Joey and I... I was surprised with the extra pages you included... had I told you when the other's birthday was?
*hugs*

Shorts? Don't remind me. My favourite pair ripped last fall and I can't find any I like as well. *pout*
We saw The Blue Butterfly. VERY sad but with a happy ending. It's so hard to find movies that both of the girls enjoy. Rosie, being 12, wants to see less babyish movies, and Gracie, being almost 8, is afraid of almost everything. She freaked out 2 weeks ago at the animated T-Rex in Night in the Museum. She still hasn't looked at Voldemort's face on the back of Quirrel's head, and refuses to watch The Goblet of Fire.
And speaking of Harry Potter....... less than 2 months for the new movie and then book. Rosie already told her dad that "MOM is taking me. It's a MOM thing." And she is insisting that sweetie go with us. His boys are too old, and thus cool, to go to Harry Potter. *rolling my eyes* I keep telling him that his older son has a *g*i*r*l*f*r*i*e*n*d* but he won't accept it. I'll bet there's a real live, pick-the-girl-up date coming on soon!
I only had a single square of chocolate today. I'm saving those calories for tomorrow with strawberries. I don't know why I bother saving calories. I should just cut down...... maybe I'd lose 20 pounds!

I agree with you there Karen... our little weekend last summer was so much fun.
Okay, the longer this thread goes on, the scarier it gets. I'm game for a southern-girl-getaway! I'll pull my southern accent out of hiding!!!!
TN, GA, NC..... what's in the middle????
Greenville, SC?

Well last time, Karen and I found the middle in Chattanooga, TN...about 1 1/2 to 2 hours from both of us...
I just sent you an email through iV so we can discuss this there...
How did the strawberry picking go today?
Glad you guys had a good day!
Strawberry picking was a bit slim today. We had to pick two full rows to get about 5 pounds of berries. I hate the end of strawberry season!!!! It's so sad! (As I type here, I'm listening to those bleeping dogs again. They've been at it since 9:52.)
So Gracie is very similar in sleeping habits. One school days, I have to DRAG her butt out of the bed, but Saturdays, she's usually up and at 'em by 7:00.
SO I think you're my doppleganger...... we also went shopping at Target after strawberries. There were 7 things on the list, none over $15. As we were checking out, I'm watching the total climb and climb and climb...... Nearly $200 later, we got out. At least there was food, clothing, and other stuff on there. Had it just been a single category, I would have cried.
Tomorrow, we have to plant those darned trees from my Dad. And I promised the girls that we'd go to the local dairy for dinner..... aka ice cream.
So Gracie's birthday is coming up. She's going to be EIGHT!!! I can't believe it... seems like only yesterday she was still inside of me, kicking the daylights out of my lungs. I'm afraid to ask what she wants.... it'll be Barbie, much to my chagrin. I hate that big-busted little twit!!!
I'll send sleep vibes towards you.... for Joey!!
