VENT ALERT!!

Okay, we've been separated for over six months now. I've been a SAHM for the past two years and although I started looking for a job recently (2 months ago), I haven't found one yet. In those six months, he hasn't given me enough money to cover school tuition, much less anything else. My family has been helping me out with money.

Well, I submitted a bunch of medical expenses to our cafeteria plan (for money I layed out from money my FATHER lent me). The checks got sent to his address (because that is the address on the insurance info, even thought not the address I gave on the forms). He DEPOSITED the checks and won't give me the $$$. OMG. I'll just add that to the list of expenses he hasn't paid. My lawyers says not to worry (he's a family friend so I know I can trust him) and that the judge won't like it when he hears about it at the upcoming conference. But COME ON! The NERVE!

Your attorney is correct.

I didn't see the checks so I'm not sure whose name was on them. But I bet you're right if they were made out to me - but then I'm not sure how he could have deposited them. I'll be checking into that!

Either way, he's in trouble.

I can't believe we've come to this. All I want is what the kids are entitled to (and what I'm entitled to - he emptied our joint accounts of everything except $200 the day he told me he was leaving). How does a person so totally change? Or did I just never really know him.

I seen enough posted on this board and experienced enough in my own situation to know, bizarre as it is, they can change like that!

So so sorry.

Hopefully you will get what you need and deserve (and so will he).
