Phone calls?

My H and I seperated almost 3 weeks ago. I have the children full time. He is coming over when I have to work and watching them as well as 2 days a week to see them before bed.

Is it wrong to expect a phone call on the days that he doesn't see them to see how their day was? My children are special needs and nonverbal so they can't talk on the phone. I don't care if he doesn't want to talk to me but I would think he would be interested in the seeing how their day went.

Thanks.

If they can't talk, then why should he call them? I doubt he wants to talk to you, (mine calls my dd's cell phone and talks only to the kids). I would let it go, I email him if he needs to know something, or leave a brief note.

Well, I generally don't talk to my kids when they are with their dad.
