Hi everyone!

It's been quite a while since I posted...you were all so helpful while I was going through the process, I thought I'd reach out again and see if anyone else has been through or is going through the craziness that I am.

I separated from X a little over 2 yrs ago, after an extra-marital affair was admitted to by him.

Luv,

I would seek legal advice, probably from the attorney who handled your divorce and follow it.

Keep your typed up 10-page response handy but don't offer it up at first. It may become ammunition against you because it's likely to wind up in your Ex's attorney's hands. If necessary, you can present a copy to the judge if there's a hearing.

I think a judge would see right through your Ex's claims that you've fiddled with visitation of your child and his "hardship" claim of now fathering twins. I hope he tells him "Tough, you chose to father additional children. You should have thought about how that would impact you economically." In many states you can't just reduce child support for such frivolous claims. Plus, you've gotten your act together and you've shown you are a good custodial parent. If you were a meth-head or a drinker who couldn't keep a job, I think he'd have something to talk about. I also find it interesting he didn't challenge custody and ask for primary custody of your child. That tells me he doesn't really want any responsibility for his child.

Get legal advice and follow it. And document everything as you have. You never know when he's going to try something stupid again.

Some commonly misspelled words on this board:

You're = contraction of "you are"; You're going away?
