If all assets have been split to the agreement of both parties and the only undecided issue is custody and shild support, can a divorce be made final? or does that all have to be decided first?

The ques. is for my sister and she has a call into her lawyer but we were hoping to get some answers in the meantime.

Thanks

In Florida "all" issues have to be settled before the marriage is "dissolved".

Peace,

in most cases, child custody and support are crucial to the prononciation of divorce. It makes sense: the government does not care at all how you split your assets, but the welfare of the children is important.
