I told my DH in March that I wanted a divo.

I honestly can't imagine how so many of you hang in there living with the STBX-I sure get the financial part because I am hanging by a thread and could use some help there but any time or conversation with him sets me back to when this began-maybe having him around would make me less emotional when I do have to deal with him-we talked by phone today and it is so surreal-his memory is so selective and skewed that it is like the 30 years together never really happened. We had to talk because the house will be finally going on the market and he emailed me with instructions for who to contact and what things needed to be done and I said forget it. You want to sell the house-handle it. I am not willing to choose the realtors or have anyone come in to tell me what needs to be done to make it appealing in this market. I will be criticized if it doesn't sell quickly enough-if it sells too quickly if we don't get what he thinks it is worth and it's not worth it..He knows what needs to be done-he can do it. I have told him I intend to move out during the process of having it on the market. I've been there done that only 5 years ago before we built this "dream retirement home".

Yeah at this point I believe anything! Because I was in Chicago helping my younger son get settled when STBX decided to clear the divorce with his mom and talk to a lawyer I was shocked to find some clothes in the laundry room hanging on hangers when I returned (before the BIG TALK) I said wow you washed some clothes-he said he had read the washer & dryer

How are doing? You could have a little painting party with the kids. Tell stbxh what is going on and he needs to be gone for the day.

He usually works on Saturdays so that would be convenient.

That stinks. It figures that they get an intern and now DH has free time.

There is a lot to do in Boston. Museum of Science, Duck Tours. Red Sox, Cape, Six Flags..Water World (in NH).

OK how big is the porch? If the three of you were doing it could it get done in two hours?

How is the refinancing going?

Telling him he needs to do it and him actually doing it as you know are two totally different things. This is the man who told me the other day that it might have looked like he was just sitting in his recliner

The porch isn't that big and I could do it myself even.
