I just wanted to take a minute to thank everybody for responding to my message. I was down yesterday and just a few words from you guys was all I needed to get back on track. The loneliness does set in sometimes, but I find things to keep me busy. I've been a mobile DJ for three years now after initially working with a DJ company oddly enough that all started at my STBX's class reunion. That keeps me busy, and it's funny, whenever I set up the equipment and start going over playlists and such, everything else gets turned off in my head once people start having a good time and dancing. Plus, LOL, I find it much easier to DJ a wedding rather than be in my own. I also find time to do an 80s radio show on the internet, which is a blast because I get an excuse to throw out some of my favorite music from that time period. So if any of you guys want to tune me in, I play on Wednesday evenings for a couple of hours starting at 8pm est and the site is www.phoenixradionow.com.... I would love to have you guys tune in.

So that's a little more about me. Music has become my internal medicine and my sunshine when the dark clouds loom. There's one song that totally describes my feelings as the final days of the divorce grow closer. You know in the beginning I was glad that after five rocky years of marriage I was on my own, but being human, you can't help but miss the times when the two of you got along. Now we go our separate ways with only one thing between us- Ethan. And Ethan, what can I say about that baby... he's four and I still call him my baby. At fifty plus pounds, I still feel the need to pick him up in my arms, and when I feel his hands on my shoulder and his head resting on me, there is no greater love in the world than that, because he loves me not because he has to, and not because he has something to prove; he loves me purely because he exists.
Anyway, I'm rambling, sorry :D Anyway, about the song, it's from (of all people) Don Johnson, and the song is called "Can't take your memory." So if you guys like the lyrics and want the song, I would be more than happy to send it through Yahoo IM, that or anything else, I enjoy sharing music (and yes, LOL, they're all legal :D) Anyway, here are the lyrics...

"You can pack your bags, take a walk
throw your hands in the air, refuse to talk
swear to be damned it was all a bad dream,
leaving me with a silent scream;

You can take the photos off the walls
leave empty echoes in the halls;
I still see your face when I look around,
I see your lips move but there's no sound
You can throw away reminders of you and me;

But you can't take your memory,
no you can't that part of you from me,
Can't take your memory,
it's still deep in the heart of me;

I know someday I'll break free,
thinking about those used-to-bes
Even though you're long since gone
it's little things about you that keep hangin' on
You can throw away reminders of you and me

But you can't take your memory
No, you can't take that part of you from me
Can't take your memory,
It's still deep in the heart of me

It's no good to dwell upon it they say
I find a thousand ways to make it through each day
Then the sun goes down and the shadows grow tall
My mind goes to you like it's nothing at all
Cuz you're still in my heart,
You're still in my heart baby,
You're still in my heart...

Can't take your memory
No you can't that part of you from me
You can take my heart,
Tear it apart,
But you'll never,
Never
Take your memory....

Cause your'e still in my heart....."

It's a powerful song, and if I let it, tears begin to form, so take caution if you would like me to send it... :) I guess I need to give my Yahoo handle... it's djspinmajic. Anyway, this message has gotten way too long, but I have a bad habit of typing a lot, so forgive me.

Thanks again everyone for just being there when I needed some shoulders. I was skeptical coming here, because on some message boards you can post all day and never get a response. But I really like it here so I think I'll be here for quite a while. Have a wonderful day everyone!
