thanks for making me laugh

This is only my second day here and I've been reading alot of the messages. I cry at most of them because they all seem to hit home with me. I would, however, like to thank you all for adding a touch of humor to something that seems so dark with no end in sight. I haven't laughed about my divorce since it was final (7mos. ago) and it's nice to know that a little humor goes a long way!

Please keep us newbies smiling.

I always try to see a little positive in each day... and make the most of it!

Speaking of goofy........ my boss came in today with one of those I-am-just-getting-over-a-sore-throat-and-stuffy-nose voices. He's sitting there talking to me and I burst into laughter because he sounded almost EXACTLY like Donald Duck. For the rest of the day, I called him Donald.

*LMAO* @ the WonderBra story.

I'm sorry about Mr. Match's Mom, but it sounds like he's handling it well, though it's never easy.

*making a mental note to dig my WonderBra out just in case*

His response is that he's handling it "better than expected" and I told him that unless he's really good at hiding how he's feeling, I think he is handling it better than expected.

Sleep? What's that? The only times I sleep more than 4 hours a night are when sweetie is here with me! (makes a good case for sleepovers!!! *EG*)

And I don't see you as a babbler, but if you turn into one with him, then KEEP HIM!

Oh, and that's REALLY how sweetie and I started out. Both of us were single and hated eating alone, so we'd share dinner at least twice-a-kid-free week, and we'd each cook once. Then it became 2 nights of eating in and one night out. Then 4 cooking in and 1 out. Now it's every kid-free night and a full bown relationship!

*snickering at you babbling*

The good part is that he's a pretty good babbler, himself.... however, he (unlike mr car salesman Ken) knows how to listen, as well as babble... and unlike EX, has the comprehension to actually retain, process and appropriately react to what I have to say

Babble.... listen..... babble ..... listen.......Babble.... listen..... babble ..... listen.......

The best relationships are based on that concept!!
