1. My children. Greatest kids ever! (Okay, I know we all think this about our babies :) )

2. Iced mochas. I'm an addict.

3. That I'm finally feeling motivated and hopeful. I've spent the last few days cleaning out my house, and I won't stop until all the old junk has been purged. This project is helping me so much. (oh, and in the process I threw away an old crappy knife sent and splurged on a great one at Williams-Sonoma!)

1. My new full-time job!
2. My friend who is so generous (letting my 2 year old and I come in and crash her bachelorette pad).
3. My daughter. She makes me smile everyday and reminds me that it's all worth it.

i am grateful for:
my son - with all the problems and heartache that i have with him, i don't know how i would survive my life without having had him

my health - having once lost my health, and been verrry sick, i am grateful for my health, grateful for every day that i wake up and can jump (well, drag myself) out of bed, grateful for my hair, even on bad hair days, because once i didn't have any hair.

my friends and family - for giving me support and love (and that includes all of you guys!!)

1. My children. My beautiful, brilliant, wonderful, fun, silly daughters. They are the reason I breathe every day.

2. My boyfriend Michael. The past 16 months have showed me what love is supposed to look like, and how to expect to be treated, and makes me feel good about MYSELF.

3. My job. I love my boss. My job is so fun, challenging, and a super "break" for me. I had no job, no education, and this man took a chance on me, and now I am hoping to go back to school, and Law School. All lawyers should practice like this man. Makes me want to join the world of lawyer's with a conscience.

Thanks, Christine, for reminding me of the wonderful things I have in life.

That is fantastic! There's nothing like being given a chance and then having the opportunity to shine. I've always been very interested in the law...I just find it fascinating.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I think I'm going to print that one out. It's nice to get lucky sometimes, isn't it? We deserve it ;)

Thanks again, Christine. YOu know, I live in CT... Laura (don't remember what her screen name is) and I met on this board, and have hooked up IRL... she's moving to West Hartford (where I live) next month. Maybe we can try to get together sometime. What does your "child free" time look like?
