Congrats! Good for you! It feels nice to be adored, doesn't it? Enjoy the ride, even if he doesn't turn out to be "the one." If nothing else, you now know what it's like to be treated well by a man.
PS - I ended up marrying my good-as-gold post-divorce boyfriend....we've been marred for almost two years now, and he's still wonderful. Life definitely does go on :)
It's nice to hear that you are having a good time. I went on a dating website "just to look" and it seems that there are a lot of guys in my age group who are available, I'm not ready to go there yet.
Not to throw the wet blanket, but after one date, he wants you to make a commitment? I'd be wary about that. I think that after getting out of a relationship w/ someone who is very controlling (mine, not yours) I really wouldn't want any guy giving me ultimatums.
Congrats.... but stick to your guns.... tell him that he'll just have to date some other women, too, because you aren't ready for that kind of commitment yet.... YES, everything feels GREAT, but you want to be sure FOR BOTH OF YOU that you aren't masking your true feelings by jumping too fast too quickly, and that you hope he'll respect you for want to be sure that you get it right.
well I was just wondering last night where you've been ;)
