trial separation?

I am in this terrible lingo of not knowing whether to stay or go. I've been staying and "trying" to work on things but my H and I keep beating up each other (not physically) every day and we keep having to start over frequently. Things like not respecting privacy, breaking mutual agreements we made, breaking trust and I just don't see how we can really repair and stay in the same house. I'm considering a trial separation but mostly for psychological reasons...because I can't seem to bring myself to file. Though I'm not opposed to a separationg NOT working. Meaning I think I'll be fine if we really do end up divorced. I'm just not ready to file yet and not sure if I can handle the daily cycle of starting over and over and over. Suggestions?

Hey,

I'm not a big advocate for a trial separation... but if what you're doing isn't working, and you're not ready to take the jump to divorce just yet... perhaps that is worth a try.

I mean, if you think you'd regret filing and not trying that, then that's what you should do.... but if you really don't think there is the commitment on his part... or your part... to really do things any differently, then... what are you waiting for?
