What do you ladies think?

Is it crucial to comb through memories of a failed relationship in order to understand what went wrong so we don't make the same mistakes twice, or is it sometimes just better to close the door, not look back, and just get on with building a new life?

It takes two people to make a relationship work so not everything that went wrong was necessarily something that you would repeat in another relationship. However it does take two people to make a relationship work so it would be good to look back with an open mind and see what you might have done too. I know that I'm trying to learn from my own past mistakes so as to not make the same mistakes again.

IMHO, if its done, its done. Perseverating on the pain, the mistakes & what "could have been" can only make it harder to get on with one's life. BUT ... if that soul searching is needed, if its something you can learn from, then i say do whatever it is one needs to - to get thru.

Close that door and put the karma van in "drive".
