After sending my atty a quite furious letter re: the continued putting off of my trail date (sometimes him, sometimes STBX's atty, & sometimes the court) & stating how i felt about it. Here is some of the letter:

"I am very disillusioned with this whole court system.

*hugs*

The stuff you're going through makes me thankful that XH and I agreed upon how we were going to split things up and it was relatively easy. Sure I was cranked off that we agreed we'd do it with a mediator and one day he told me that his lawyer needed the name of my lawyer, so I went out and got one that day, which ended up costing both of us alot more money for nothing. So in spite of all the money wasted before the divorce, it was a smooth process. So smooth, in fact, that Rosie is the one who told me on January 18th, 2003, that "You and Dad are divorced. It was finalized on December 31st, 2002." My LAWYER didn't even know!!!!! She was stunned when I FAXed her the paperwork that I had XH FAX to me. But I have a new lawyer now.... she's great and is a huge advocate for children. She has been worth every single penny!
