Ugh. He called my former employer

These are my musings after checking my cell phone bill online. He uses the phone. I'm trying to get out of the contract because he won't pay the bill and I can't afford to keep up "his" phone. Mine is on a separate account.. also in my name.

Not that I really think it matters. I was laid off in January 2006. I was told it was due to reorganization, etc. Typical stuff. STBX believes I did something wrong and I think he called them to try to prove it. Unbelieveable!

What would he get out of it? I don't know. I think he may be trying to build a custody case against me. (like I was fired for being lazy or something??) Then again, he doesn't exactly act as if he wants custody anymore. But all that aside, if the company didn't tell me there was a different reason, they sure as h-e-double-hockey-sticks aren't going to tell him anything.

He also called a lawyer in the county where I work... I thought that was bizarre that he didn't go with one in his own county. (sigh) I wish I knew what he was up to. Actually... I wish this was just over and done with. I better write that letter I told my attorney I was writing. No point dragging my feet.

PR,

No employer worth their salt is going to tell your STBX why they let you go. They aren't going to put themselves in the middle of a legal issue that doesn't involve them.
