Wondering what you think?

I was considering asking Friend of the Court if the visitation order can be changed. X has not followed through with visitation because he says he can not afford to pay for the visits and the classes. He was to start with 3 months of supervised visitation and complete domestic violence classes. I know the DV classes are expensive, so I was thinking if he agreed to get counseling it may be just as beneficial (he can obtain free or low cost services). Could I be asking for trouble by asking for the visitation order to be changed?

I'm really not sure. I would run it by the Friend of the Court and see what they have to say. It sounds reasonable to me.

If counseling is free or low cost.... why not suggest that to him.
