Was your divorce settlement unfair?

My divorce took two plus years and went to trial. The Judge ignoring perjury by my EX, and especially his forensic CPA and expert Divorce business evaluator used their fictitous number for the value of the business and actually said I caused him to incure more fees by hiring my own to try to prove a real value, he did but it didn't matter. We are talking about millions of dollars of difference. I had no choice but to receive alimony (I know luckier than alot of women who receive nothing) but in reality I can never marry again to see anywhere close to what I should have received now. Had I received a real 50% of our assets that included a real value (or even half of a real value) for the business, I would not be receiving alimony and would be able to provide an income from that. As it is, the amount of alimony is always subject to change depending on circumstances. No security in that.
I did ask my attorney to motion for a retrial and was refused. I went to other attorney's to try to appeal. I am told for various reasons, once assets are split by a Judges decision it cannot be changed right or wrong. Problem was the Judge cannot force a third party, the company or EX's partner in my case to buy me out of the business at a fair price. I no longer believe there is justice in our courts and know there is NONE in the family court system. The stay at home mother is not valued. I at very near 50, after 22 years of marriage, left in debt with fees over the divorce and am told I have marketable skills that could permit me to work immediately, I was sent to a vocational evaluator, every nastsy game was played except thankfully not child custody. EX decided he never wanted children, moved across the country and only sees his child a few hours a month if that. Refused to participate in a car purchase in any way recently and every little thing, yes, even medical bills that are shared by % by court order is a battle to collect. He has no conscience nor a clue how hurtful this is to his daughter.
Lawyers are not accountable, Judges are not accountable and this system needs to be changed. I live in California supposedly a community property state and received nowhere even close to 50%. My attorney even said one would have to be on drugs to think this settlement was fair. But, there is not always a way to right a wrong. Why not?
