weekend plans anyone??

my house was an aboslute disaster - i had been spending alot of time studying in the last few weeks, and the dust and junk just accumulated.... anyway, i am happy to say that
the sinks, tub, toilet are all shining and white again.
the floors are no longer covered with dust.
the piles of clothing in my room are now in their rightful place.
i then re-organized my file that has all the bills in it - i usually just pay the bill and toss it in the general vicinity of the file. now it is all organized - divided into the various catergories and set up in chronological order.
etc etc etc.
now i just have to dust the bookshelves and straighten out the balcony.

Hi Laura,
Have you ever heard of freecycle.org? It's a wonderful free Yahoo group that gives and takes stuff away. For example: I had a bucket of gravel in my garage since we got rid of our aquarium 6+ years ago. I don't want it and I hate to waste it, so I posted it to my freecycle group. I got about 3 e-mails from interested people and I chose one, set up a pick up time and put it on my porch. A few hours later, the gravel is gone - I'm happy the taker is happy! I've gotten some wonderful things this way too - a carpet steamer, boxes and bubble wrap for my move and I got a really cute lamp for my DDs room just today! Go to www.freecycle.org to find a group near you!

Thanks for the freecycle advice- it sounds awsome. I went to this local eBay store and sold some nice entertaining stuff. Then I went to work cleaning and bagging the house. When I was done, I had a mountain of trashbags in front yard and called a guy with a dump truck to haul it all away. It was cheaper than a dumpster and hopefully he'll actually show up. I have to get the house on the market in the next two weeks. I feel slightly sick.
