What the definition of cs?

Hi, received an email from my ex again today about cs.To recap, he has filed for cs modification bc I have graduated college and just bought a house. He feels if I can afford to buy a house than he is overpaying me. I work full time and make $11.50 an hour and receive government grants for my education, he pays zero towards my tuition, he just thinks he does. Here is a portion of his thoughts: (byt, my kids are 9 and 15)

>>>>You think I am jealous of your school or your house I'm not jealous but I do resent that you won't go out and find a career that would contribute to the financial end of raising this family, I don't think I should pay for your school or your house, when the kids move out that won't be there house it will be yours so that is not what child support should be used for it should be used for supporting the children and if you want to continue going to school then that is great if you could afford to pay for it<<<<<<

So can anyone tell me what the definition of cs is? He is so fixated that I will own a house in 10 years when cs is over?

You need to print that to take with you for "proof" of what his jargon is about.

Bottom line is.... all states have very calculated formulas to determine fair child support.

I don't have an answer for your question, just a comment. My x was paying $600/month for four kids. I was going to school. I had remarried, but he is Canadian and I am American. For legal reasons neither of us could move. So, we had a morgage in OR, rent in BC, rent for dh's office, plus all the utilities for all three places. On top of that, there was travel every other week. The kids got a good allowance. They had clothing on a regular basis, nice clothing. Both of those are much more than they got when I was with x. So, now you have an idea of how an overhead we had.

Guess what! He was paying for me to go to school (on loans that I am paying back, no grants), for our morgage, for the kid's allowances and clothing, and many other things according to him and his wife. LOL I was angry for about two minutes when I first heard this. Then, I got over it and laughed for a long time. How ridiculous is that???

BTW, it was my then 19yo dd who told me that this was said. (Although, my other dd and one of my ds's told me the same thing later.) She apparently laid into them when they said this. She told them that I had no grants. I had loans that I had to pay back. That they never got allowance when they were at their house. Etc. LOL
