Thank you so much for this note. It really hit home because I too tend to always forget all the crappy things that have happened during our 10 year relationship. I really do think that I need to write down all that stuff, because when I feel sad and down I forget about that stuff. Often I'll be talking to friends/family and they may bring something up that I completely forgot. I know it's not all about the past, but these 'things' happened more than once and in a way continue to happen.


The other thing that is so true...is that when we don't see each other/spend time with one another we forget about how it REALLY was and would be. Which makes making a decision all the harder because it's easy to forget how it was and think it will be good when you get back together. It's just not the case.


Again, thank you. It's good to know that there are other people out there feeling the same way.
