Do you still have a RO in place?..... At any rate, it might be worth a call to his attorney just to say, "Since M is on his way over there, please remind him that I will get an RO in place if his volatile behavior continues."
Give him the leniency of that one phone call (since you did call him.... back!).
So... is this laying low kind of like doing the limbo????... seeing how low you can go?
Hope all goes well!

So the dirty games begin ... i just got an email from him "Thanks for the black eye ... i have photos".
This AM when I picked Ave up she said "Mommy, look at Daddys eye! It happened last nite when he was asleep".
Gheez.... well I hope that Averey doesn't have to turn into a witness!
What a jerk!

Ugh, what an idiot. BTW, I work at an eye doctor's office and that's called a subcon hemmorage. It's ugly but harmless. Some meds can do that, what's he taking?

Oh my gosh!

Exactly, or actually it can happen from doing nothing at all if you're taking blood thinners. What a moron that guy is. If she hit him in the eye, the surrounding tissue would be bruised, not just the eyeball. Sheesh....

My first impression from your stbx's response is that he has watched Al Pacino's scarface one to many times. Perhaps you should reply "then Say hello to my lil fren", when he says "You want a war?" .
My ex wife had a habbit of entering my house while I was not home to search for things she would find valueable. I put a restraining order in place and she stopped, but the damage had alread been done.
The law cannot protect you from nut jobs and crazy people.
The problem I found with the entire divorce process is that lawyers absolutely love upset and mellodramitc clients. These kinds of clients want all kinds of actions and want to talk on and on. And all of this at $250 an hour. In other words, a lawyer is a very expensive friend.
If you do in fact get a restraining order, then you need to follow through -- as soon as stbx is even close to violating it, call 911. Every single time (its exhausting!). Otherwise you demonstrate (to a court) that YOU are willing to be tolerant of the behaviour outlined in the RO.
Yeah, he probably has seen it too many times, lol.
& the attorneys, right again. Although mine is pretty good. He cut my bill more than 50% at the end b/c he felt badly about all that I am going through. & for this motion, we are asking for attorney fees from him since its BECAUSE of him we have to do all this. Hope i get them b/c just THIS motion is a $500 bill .... so far. W/o a $1200 day in court yet
It all varies by state (btw, this motion served wasnt the D, thats final - its a contempt motion). You would to check.
If you are concerned about your safety at ALL, be SURE you request you be notified prior to his being served so you can be sure you are in a safe place, not alone, arent answering his calls, your kids arent there, etc.
Good luck & (((hugs))) ... it DOES get better! R~
