Yet another issue!

Okay, so STBX informed me that he's going to be living with his parents, and then it dawned on me- they have 3 large dogs, and the issue with that is that our daughter has a diagnosed allergy to dogs. This allergy is so bad, that last fall we got her a chocolate lab, not knowing at the time that she had this allergy. Well, after having this dog for a couple of weeks, she got pneumonia and had to be hospitalized and our family Dr. said the dog absolutely caused this.Anyhow, I reminded STBX about this and his response was that when DD is at his parents, these dogs will be outside, but that's crazy because there's still doing to be hair and dander in the house. I also think it's worth mentioning that these are spoiled dogs- they sleep on the couch or in bed with my in laws. I'm freaking out, and wondering if I can make a request for her to not live in a household with dogs. I know his family gonna think I'm a b&^%h (they already do, I sure) but having my baby in the hospital, and watching her get an IV and blood drawn was the worst experience of my life, and I want to avoid that all costs. Any advice?

I'd say that you are going to have to try it to see if it flies.... remind them... and ask them to be proactive and if they start to notice ANY symptoms of the allergies that she just can't stay there.

It's his daughter's health... their granddaughter's health... and a FAT hospital bill (plus dealing with a sick babe).
